Ciao/Salve= Hello/Hi
Buon giorno= Good morning
Buon pomeriggio=Good afternoon
Buona sera=Good evening

Arrivederci= Godbye/Bye Bye
Ci vediamo=See you/Cheerio

PRESENTARE DEGLI AMICI

Questo è come si presenta a un amico un altro amico:

John: Hi Mark
Mark:Hello John
John:This is Sarah
Mark:Hello Sarah
Sarah:Hi Mark

Mentre quando si presenta un adulto il discorso cambia:

Mr.Brown:Goog Morning Mr Smith
Mr Smith:Good Morning
Mr.Brown:This is Miss Over
Mr.Smith:Nice to meet you!
Miss Over:How do you do!

CHIEDERE E DIRE IL NOME

John:I am John.What's your name?
Mary:My name's mary

Mary:What's his name?
Mark:His name is Bob

John:What's her name?
Bob:Her name is Mary

John:What are their name?
Bob:Their name are Mary and Mark

CHIEDERE E DIRE COME STAI

Come stai?=How are you?
Bene grazie=Fine thank you
Molto bene grazie=Very well,thank you
Non male grazie=Not bad,thank you
Così così grazie=So and so,thank you

IL PLURALE DEI NOMI

In generale in inglese il plurale dei nomi si forma aggiungendo una "s".Esempi:

Pen-->Pens
Book-->Books
Window-->Windows

I nomi che terminano in s,ss,sh,ch,x,z,o formano il plurale aggiungendo "es".Esempi:

Bus-->Buses
Glass-->Glasses
Dish-->Dishes
Sandwich-->Sandwiches
Box-->Boxes
Quiz-->Quizes
Tomato-->Tomatoes

Alcuni nomi che terminano in "o" formano il plurare aggiungendo una "s" invece di "es".Esempi:

Piano-->Pianos
Radio-->Radios
Photo-->Photos
Disco-->Discos
Kilo-->Kilos
Studio-->Studios
Stereo-->Stereos

I nomi che terminano in "y",se la "y" è preceduta da una vocale si aggiunge solo la "s".Esempio:

Day-->Days

Se invece la "y" è preceduta da una consonante la "y" si trasforma in "ies".Esempio:

Lady-->Ladies

I nomi che terminano in "f,fe" formano il plurale trasformando "f,fe" in "ves".Esempi:

Wolf-->Wolves
Wife-->Wives
